True, but seeing as how they treated Harry, I never cared to find out how they ended. There were some loose threads in other areas I would have liked to have tied up, but overall the book was excellent! I did have a feeling that the “awful” boy that Petunia talked about in OOTP was going to be Snape and not James though. Because I believe in the very first book she mentions that she never met Harry’s father, because once she determined her sister was a freak, they broke off all contact with one another.

I think it was implied because 1) they weren't mentioned and 2) Dudley's recognition of Harry before they left.

They never figured into the action in the wizarding world.

Once they'd been put in the protection program no one knew where they were, or even who they were.

I'm sure they muddled through OK.
