I am giving a lot of thought to removing the elephant GOP bumper sticker I've had on my Jeep since 2003.
I feel like right now, the GOP is run by traitorous scum intent on selling our our Republic.
I have the sticker on still because I support the small govt IDEAL of the GOP - I just no longer feel like the GOP is focused on that direction.
Thoughts?
I would remind anyone considering changing party affiliation to check local laws regarding primary voting. I’d still like to have a voice in what choices I am given next year. If your state allows you to vote in either primary, I say have at it.....
WELCOME TO FR.
It’s only a bumper sticker. Rip it off there and save the thought time for something else.
That's nice.
We had spaghetti at our house three times last week!
I scraped off my Bush/Cheney sticker in the summer of 01, after Bush went to Philadelphia and was pushing his expansion of government with the faith based initiative.
Then 911 happened, and we all forgot how much of a leftist he is.
Now, people are actually considering Giuliani? It’s over for the GOP.
No matter we you vote for we always vote for them.

I have a framed campaign poster of Nixon, in profile, with that slogan.
If you need to achieve consensus on this all-important issue, then you're probably not a conservative. Probably not the sort of thought you were expecting to hear.
“Im ashamed I ever voted for El Presidente Bush”
So am I. I am heartsick over this whole thing. He is a fraud and a mediocrity. And I got my husband to vote for him too.
I don’t like him anymore, either...but the alternative was worse.
“I would remind anyone considering changing party affiliation to check local laws regarding primary voting. Id still like to have a voice in what choices I am given next year. If your state allows you to vote in either primary, I say have at it.....”
Didn’t say I was going to change party affiliation - to what?
The Constitution party that doesn’t really care about the Constitution?
The Losertarians?
I will keep voting in the primaries as I always do, but I’m growing tired of advertising for the party that has pissed me off so much.
If Rudy McRomney is the candidate, I won’t volunteer so much as one hour.
“If you need to achieve consensus on this all-important issue, then you’re probably not a conservative. Probably not the sort of thought you were expecting to hear.”
If you made the comment above and didn’t just leave your account logged in for a mental defective to use to post, then you don’t understand the difference between conservative and republican.
Probably not the sort of thought you were expecting to hear.
“Apparently, true conservatives get hung-up on bumper stickers, correct?”
It’s an outward display of show of support for the GOP which I don’t think deserves that support at the moment.
“And do I have to remind you that you invited to hear other people’s thoughts?”
THoughts... yes. Focus on that word for a minute. Thought.
I did “focus” upon it. What you meant by “thoughts” is “only thoughts which agree with mine.” Think about it. For a minute.
