I’ll expand on my story. I’m watching Kyle XY, and Decklin has sex with the girl. Then he’s playing pool, and his friend walks up and says, right after he misses a shot, “you tapped that”.
When I first saw the show last year, I thought the friend was talking about him missing his shot because he didn’t hit it hard enough, and didn’t understand Decklin’s response, which was “No, she’s not that kind of girl”.
But because of this “I’d hit it” thread, I now know what the kid meant.
