Narcisists look out on the world and see only themselves projected. The rest of us live in an interdependant world where we rely on and benefit from the expertise of others in many fields. These narcissists wrongly believe that they are the smartest ones around. One main difference between today and the world of my youth is that we used to ridicule stupidity and shut it down. Now the ignorant and stupid impose their nonsense on us at every turn.
I have no interest, at all, in what Rosie O'Donnell says in conflict with the views of the best structural engineers in the biz.
Regarding the screenshot, what is it supposed to prove? One historian says that if you go to Normandy Beach and look at the news reports displayed of the invasion, you will see that all of them were wrong. They call journalism the first draft of history. In the confusion of the heat of the moment they get somethings wrong. That is not evidence of conspiracy.
Back in the mid 90's, when the innernet was just ramping up, a college professor of mine said, "Today, almost anyone can publish...and that might not be such a good thing." At the time, I thought it was an incredibly elitist pronouncement, but now...
