The main point we Rudy Skeptics are trying to get across to you is that a Rudy candidacy will split the base. Doubt us? Just pick a Rudy thread on FR and see how divicive his candidacy truly is. If his candidacy will do that here, imagine what it will do in the heartland.
You are welcome to champion your man, as you have been doing. But you have no leg to stand on when you attempt to prove his "electability". His candidacy leads to Hillary in the White House. In fact, I truly believe she will need Rudy as an opponent to win.
On the other hand, Hillary's detractors are so strident (even in her own party) this is a prime opportunity to get a conservative in the White House! We don't have to meet the Dems on their turf--they don't even like their own turf when it comes to Hillary.

Sorry but I don't consider FR to represent all the Republican voters in the U.S. If that were the case Duncan Hunter would be #1 and McCain #2, Romney #3 and Rudy #27.
