More of that 'fake but accurate stuff'. So he wasn't in the service, whats your point? They had to drag me screaming in 1968 :)but I went. It doesn't diminish him in any way, I don't give extra points for the military but I do take note of it.

There is a certain warrior mentality that can only be obtained via military training as opposed to being a corporate leader. I served when Bill Clinton was the Commander in Chief, and the fact that he just couldn't relate to us was obvious.

Now, I'm not saying that someone who has not served is automatically disqualified. It's just that it's a huge disadvantage when trying to be an effective military leader.

I respectively disagree, I did the exec rotation, its called 'staff', plus you could say he is one of the few executives ever to have experienced first hand 'combat operations' on September 11, 2001.
