According to a source close to The Giuliani campaign, Rudy Giuliani is throwing his hat into the ring. The Hinzsight Report confirms, through a source close to the Giuliani campaign, that he is presently sending people out into all 50 states to secure his name on the primary ballots. "Despite Mayor Giuliani's public cautiousness, this is evidence that he is seriously pursuing the Presidency in 2008, and he should be taken very seriously. Critical state polls have shown Mayor Giuliani leading the pack, and it's about time that he start being considered what he is--the front-runner" a source tells The Hinzsight Report.
Giuliani has lined up nearly 300 key Republican supporters in New Jersey for his bid for the 2008 presidential nomination, his campaign announced this week. In a recent Quinnipiac University poll of New Jersey voters, it showed Giuliani leading all Republican presidential candidates and ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic contender, in a head-to-head matchup. The New Jersey primary, which is currently set for Feb. 26, is likely to move up to Feb. 5, placing it early in the campaign season and increasing its significance. As many as 15 states could hold their Republican presidential primaries Feb. 5, reports Gannett. |

There you go again, Jimmy Carter, assigning words that are clearing not there.
How did I vote?
You guess.
Note the category "undecided/pass" ---
knowing that I have written I do not make my choice until AFTER the first of the candidate debate(s), what do you deduce?

I respectively disagree, I did the exec rotation, its called 'staff', plus you could say he is one of the few executives ever to have experienced first hand 'combat operations' on September 11, 2001.

Rudy has made statements that go both ways. He praises Roberts and Alito. He also praises J.Ginsberg. [Honest people can have praise for those who they don't agree with personally. RG was praising Ginsburg's personal qualities not her ideology. Even you are not going to claim Hillary/Obama would make as good appointments to the Court as Rudy would.]

Even you are not going to claim Hillary/Obama would make as good appointments to the Court as Rudy would. But, it's pretty much a given that any of the actual Republicans in the Republican Party Primary Election that we're in would make as good or better appointments than Rudy.

The ten items of the CWA read much differently. 2 -- Legal reform. A clear political, legitimate use of federal power.
3 -- Welfare reform, making sure the money spent on welfare isn't wasted. A clear political, legitimate use of federal power.
4 -- Tax and legal reform. Again, a clear political, legitimate use of federal power.
What you *don't* see is any mention of abortion. Or gays. Or vice (except with reference to children, a clear difference).
No 'personal' issues. No 'social' issues.
To put a very fine point on it -- if Rudy came out and supported 100% of the CwA, but said he was still for gay rights and still pro-choice, the social Cs here would call him a Liberal.
Do you see the problem?

Reagan is a special case because of his personal appeal. He came across as just an ordinary plainspoken man who put the country ahead of ideological purity. Much of his appeal was due to his being so familiar to the voters having been in our living rooms for decades on Sunday night and on the big screen for more decades. Who could make negative accusations stick in the face of that?
Yes, he did win it both times Mondale only carried MN and ?Mass I think.

I see the Rudy-Rooters still remain silent and can't refute the the facts contained in your chart. And for good reason. Spinning ones opinion and calling Rudy a good leader, is one thing. Saying Rudy supports Bush`s pro-war policy, is a recent event and something tangible. Problem is, the factual evidence on all the other issues relating to Rudy`s liberal politics, can't be explained away.
So, exactly who ARE the one issue voters? LOL

That is how the website "On The Issues" classifies Rudy.
I have no idea what a moderate Libertarian is?
