Rudy Giuliani Throws Hat Into 2008 Presidential Ring
Post Chronicle ^ | 2/1/07

Posted on 02/01/2007 5:41:39 AM PST by areafiftyone

According to a source close to The Giuliani campaign, Rudy Giuliani is throwing his hat into the ring.  The Hinzsight Report confirms, through a source close to the Giuliani campaign, that he is presently sending people out into all 50 states to secure his name on the primary ballots.

"Despite Mayor Giuliani's public cautiousness, this is evidence that he is seriously pursuing the Presidency in 2008, and he should be taken very seriously.

Critical state polls have shown Mayor Giuliani leading the pack, and it's about time that he start being considered what he is--the front-runner" a source tells The Hinzsight Report.

Giuliani has lined up nearly 300 key Republican supporters in New Jersey for his bid for the 2008 presidential nomination, his campaign announced this week.

In a recent Quinnipiac University poll of New Jersey voters, it showed Giuliani leading all Republican presidential candidates and ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic contender, in a head-to-head matchup.

The New Jersey primary, which is currently set for Feb. 26, is likely to move up to Feb. 5, placing it early in the campaign season and increasing its significance.  As many as 15 states could hold their Republican presidential primaries Feb. 5, reports Gannett.

As we have all seen here, Rudy cannot accomplish the necessary coalition to win.

And if he does win the primaries, will he have established a suitable coalition for you?

Sounds like you don't know about Rudy`s liberal record. A lifetime of liberalism. Look it up. Its been posted on FR for the last six months. If Rudy decides to make serious changes to his political positions, he'll be seen as a flip flopper, changing his stances for political expediency. I think he made a good liberal mayor. For this conservative, he's just not presidential material.

I'm never seen them quite as frantic as they are this year though; and you have to ask yourself why.

Rudy Guiliani has marched in lockstep with liberals on affirmative action, gay rights, gay marriage, gun control, school prayer, tuition tax credits, liberal immigration policies, and he's reinforced it, time and time again. Just about everytime Rudy opens his mouth, offensive liberal words come pouring out. As Mayor, Rudy put liberals in high-paid city jobs, an indication what a Rudy WH would look like.

Thanks for posting this... Ive been saying to friends for months that the only candidates out there strong enough to beat Hillary are Republicans who are socially liberal - like Guiliani...The WOT may be the most important issue of our time, but socially you may as well put a liberal in office. I believe the next President will be the one to replace two more Supreme Court Justices.

And if they still support him if he does, what does that make them?

Do you not understand that sometimes others can see the big picture, not just a tunnel visioned view?

As we have all seen here, Rudy cannot accomplish the necessary coalition to win.

We just have to wait and see.

Then, we have to vote in the general election for the nominee. That's something you didn't commit to in '06 therefore; you ain't gonna commit now.

...sees anyone attempting to be conciliatory as a sucker to be exploited

...gains gratification from provoking people into emotional or irrational responses but is quick to claim provocation by others when challenged

...is unforgiving and often seizes on and exploits others' mistakes or perceived mistakes

...has no listening skills, ignores and overrules you; it can be like talking to a brick wall

It's funny how some want me to sacrifice my own goals for theirs.

We'll put you down as yet another "Me Before My Country" voter.

I couldn't agree with you more! Hopefully some of those "my candidate only" people will come around and see the truth in what you say.

Hmmm, I wondered the same of you. A liberal win isn't really a win, is it?

I am motivated to maintain human life in the womb.

What about the lives of our troops in Afganistan and Iraq. What about the 3,000 lives lost on 9/11.

We are at war.

If, in 1941, Churchill had been rejected in favor of a candidate who thought war on the continent wasn't England's problem, I wonder where we would be now.

Probably speaking German.
