I'm sorry but that comment is precisely what I'm talking about. I'm both socially and economically conservative as I'm sure most conservatives are and the attempt to call one side selfish isn't productive.

Rudy is a fine, even great, leader but he will not get the social conservatives out to the polls, he just won't. In order to win the election in '08 we need a candidate that is both.

I just don't see any social conservative running for President that can win in 2008. Electability has to come in to play when choosing the GOP nominee. We know how the Clinton's fought terrorism when Bill was President. We can't afford that again. Not now. The stakes are too high. Gays won't kill us but the terrorist will!!!
