The decline of FR mirrors the decline of the Republican Party. Both have jettisoned their core principles and are now facing the consequences. Who wants to stay on board a rudderless ship?

The decline of FR mirrors the decline of the Republican Party. Both have jettisoned their core principles and are now facing the consequences. Who wants to stay on board a rudderless ship? And how was I "trashing" FR in this post back on January 5th? I was commenting on the statistical decline of FR readership demonstrated in the Alexa numbers. These threads promoting a LIBERAL candidate are testament to a number of FReepers jettisoning their core principles. And this has been going on for some time, hence the decline evidenced in the Alexa graphs. I stand by my statement and it doesn't come close to qualifying as "regularly trashing" Free Republic "24/7". Try again.

You do deserve an apology Howlin, Grampa Dave as well, and to all the FReepers who contributed to the thread in question, this from a "trashing the FReepathon" thread (
Grandpa Dave's post was cited in the top post). Grampa Dave is a true patriot, and always bumps up the FReepathon threads with inspiring words:

What the $%&* did Howlin have to do with the Buckhead/Rather thing? She couldn't find her way out of a wet paper sack. The Rather thing was purely Buckhead from what I remember.
