Here's something from Page 194 of "Second Acts: Presidential Lives and Legacies After the White House"
"Like the Kennedy family, which knew something about creating a lasting legacy, the Reagan Foundation created an award around the Reagan image. The Ronald Reagan Freedom Award given to those who 'have made monumental and lasting contributions to the cause of freedom'. Recipients include Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher, Billy Graham, Bob Hope, and Rudolph Giuliani"
Its seems Ronald Reagan seen something he likes he Rudy. We see it too. Why can't all these Rudy bashers that adore President Reagan see it?
Reagan liked and trusted Rudy enough to appoint him as his #3 guy at DOJ.
And the people in charge of handing out awards on behalf of Reagan think that Reagan approved enough of Rudy that Rudy got that Ronald Reagan Freedom Award which, btw, is called about 3 different names in different newspaper articles.
Rudy and Gorby both are liberals that Reagan liked. So what?
It's not that they can't see it - it's that they DON'T WANT TO see it!
Rudy was so liberal, according to these purists, that Reagan appointed him to serve at DOJ. Doesn't say much for Reagan's judgment does it? LOL
