How does a man write a two million word essay on Rudy Guliani's erstwhile conservatism while ignoring the issues of gun control, abortion and illegals?
(1) Gun control was already NYC policy; Rudy cracked down on the felons illegally owning guns. If you think he's going to suddenly ban guns as President you are simply crazy
(2) Abortions declined under Rudy as he kicked the losers off of the welfare rolls, which made single women more responsible. As Mayor, he didn't enact any abortion policies
(3) Illegal immigration - There weren't hordes of illegal aliens living in NYC at the time, particularily from Mexico. Although Rudy's decision was flawed, he was simply trying to protect the rich cultural heritage of NYC.
