Personally, I prefer Tancredo although I admire "America's Mayor," and this article sheds some light on Rudy's little known conservative and courageous accomplishments.
agreed. which is the problem i have with these threads that insinuate that it's over and rudy is our only chance. i don't buy it. i oppose him, but it irks me to be lumped in with unappeasables and fringers at this stage of the game. i agree that i think McCain has a better chance, but i think he is not stable and, hence, he is equally unacceptable, IMO.
************
McCain scares me. I am heartened by the emergence of Duncan Hunter, but I wonder if he can exhibit enough charisma to get the crossover votes a candidate needs for election. We shall see.
I like him on paper, but agree that it's questionable that he can get enough momentum going. of the three i guess i would have to go with Romney, because a late conversion on the abortion issue, IMO, is better than no conversion at all : )
Obviously you exist on another planet.....;-(
Lots of hamburger flippers out there, lots of janitors and college students...yep but the heart and soul of American Manufacturing has gone off shore....do a google on manufacturing job growth...friend.
I'm not sure Romney has a chance, but then, not a lot of people have seen him speak. My husband did, and said he was the most presidential speaker he had ever seen.
Nationally the economy is pretty sound, but here in Montana, the two biggest industries are mining and agriculture. Montana tried to get in on the tech boom of the late 1990's, but the legislature raised taxes to raise money for the government to operate on, forcing small businesses (many tech businesses) to relocate elsewhere.
have you noticed that you and i are having a calm rational conversation and the hysterical shrieking has stopped? ; )
But, despite the negative economic atmosphere here, Montana does have a low unemployment rate. It's much lower than the national average.
I'm guessing I've bored them to death. :)
there are those that just love the fights on these threads, i guess. neither side is changing anyone's minds. you will never convince me rudy is a conservative or even conservative ENOUGH. but the screeching and howling just wears on ya!
you think if we take our conversation to each of the contentious rudy threads we can lull them all into a stupor??? LOL!
I'm tired of it too. I wonder at some of the posts I've seen. Character assassination. They're ugly.
Your husband is right.
be careful, trisham and i are soporifics, you will start to feel very sleepy.... ; )
i know what you mean. the back and forth NEVER ends, they repeat themselves over and over and it's just nonsensical.
Perhaps Jeb will change his last name or just drop his last name all together.
i would suggest he could take Columba's maiden name but then i will cause a riot of another sort here...
LOL!!
Last names are so 20th century anways. I mean you already got one named candidates like Rudy and Hillary!, why not Jeb.
