I never subscribed to the "they did it first" or "they do it too" argument.
But I will agree that the Rudy supporters should answer the charts and prove if they are wrong.
Is Rudy a liberal? His record is the true indicator and the only thing we have to go on is his record in NYC. So, to me, he is a liberal.
But... after 9/11, he has said things I agree with.
Plus, I just like him. As a person, I like him. I read his book on Leadership and it only increased his personal appeal. I think there will be many of voters who will vote for him (whether right or wrong) because he is likeable.
If they want to improve the tone so badly, they could start with their own posts. It really seems they want to throw cheap shots without getting such returned.

I don't think he's a bad guy at all. Just the wrong choice to hold the party together, and wrong on a lot of key issues.
