He may not sell mega-records over time, but he will certainly not fade into obscurity. Go see him live. He has a plan, he knows music, and starting with a passionate fan base isn't a bad thing. The further away from Idol the guy gets, the better he will be. Give it time and you will see.

I've only seen him live at the AI concert and I wasn't inspired. I did call in a bunch of votes too.
