For some reason, I think it's Chris Sligh. Don't get me wrong, I like him, and I think he's talented but behind that humor, I could totally see some arrogance. Especially, given his comments to Simon. He has experience with a band so he may have a bit of an attitude about being better than some of the others.
Just heard the audio a few minutes ago on the radio. That's who came to mind almost immediately.
