If anyone cost the Republicans the majority, it was the senate and house RINOS and the "moderates" (i.e., liberal-tarian, drug lovin', homo-apologist, pro-abortion, illegal alien pandering bunch).

If the war on terror is the most important thing, illegal immigration must be dealt with and every illegal thrown out of here. Also, somebody that has a track record of screwing the second Amendment, resisting federal immigration laws and pandering to the homosexuals isn't worth considering...

It has been made clear that the leadership of neither party has any intention of dealing with illegal immigration that doesn't involve the granting of amnesty to illegal aliens. Actually working to expell as many illegal immigrants as possible and to keep invaders out is veiwed as "racist". Instead we get drivel about folks doing the jobs Americans won't do, that there's too many of them, etc...

Similarly, like I've whined about elsewhere: it seems no one in power really wants win a "War on Terror" but at best they are simply trying not to lose it. It's frustrating. Many actually want our defeat.

We have the means to solve illegal immigration. We also have the means to quiet Iraq. What we lack is the will to do so, and deal with the mess it will cause afterwards.

Heck, even here, to come out and say what needs to be done would justly earn one a warning or banishment for violation of the rules. This lack of national will will not end with Bush, as much as the Madame Speaker might want it to. It will be a major issue to haunt the 44th President.

Will we see an American general presiding over the surrender of a latter day defeated Germany? Or will we instead witness American pilots evacuating American citizens from a latter day Saigon embassy? My personal answer to those questions is making me depressed. :(
