It is reported that Senator Lott has a list of 10 names of GOP senators who have elected to stand with the democrats, instead of supporting our own WAR TIME, GOP POTUS.
Brownback;
Coleman;
Lugar?;
Snow;
Collins;
Hagel;
and likely
Voinovich;
Smith;
Two have not yet been named (outed).
.
Republican Sens. George Voinovich of Ohio and John Warner of Virginia also might be persuaded. Warner said he supports the Iraq Study Group recommendations, which strongly cautioned against an increase in troops unless advocated by military commanders.
Saw it both times and both Rudy and Ollie were GREAT!
If you can hold your own, then why ping another FReeper for assistance?
I like to spread the joy! We have fun when the mods throw one to the Lions.
The one thing NOT being acknowledged here is the addition of 20,000 troops will only result in the Iraqis becoming MORE dependent on the US than less dependant. 60 days it will be FOUR years. If the Iraqis ever had any intention of becoming a truly sovereign nation responsible for itself and it security it would've done so in some measure and we would be withdrawing troops consistent with the Iraqis shouldering an increasing share of of their own security needs. The simple reality is the Iraqis are growing LESS capable and more dependent over time. Why?...Because they can. If they will not defend themselves then they know we will. So they don't.
The mods do your bidding?
It hasn't been "civil" here for most of '06. It's only going to get worse...much worse.
You have a lot to learn I see.
Read my lips: No new HAND-HOLDING.
Austin Willard Wright is still here and SoCalPol is not going anywhere.
So, is your answer to my question that the mods do your bidding? Do they?
It's not a 'seriously blue' state, Bush got 48% in MN in 2004.
I still respect Coleman, but this is a bonehead move.
Hugh and series formal announcement tomorrow: DODD will announce that he's running for his damn party's presidential nomination.
ROTFLOL!
And some of us think we have losers running? LOL-LOL-LOL
I'll make my calls in the morning!
Good night everybody!
That's exactly what I'm dreading.
Lol! Goodnight, dear onyx. :)
Here in Japan I can only get CNN International. Graham was pretty supportive of the plan.
Teddy would have a hard time hiding anywhere.
Lindsey Graham may have a 90% Conservative voting record in the Senate, but his 10% liberal vote is too much! He claims to be an independent thinker, but check his rhetoric...he's a mouth piece for John McCain. People in SC have plenty of reasons to dislike John McCain and Lindsey Graham. If you want to know what happened in the 2000 Presidential race, go to your local library and read some SC newspapers from that time! You might be surprised at how dishonest and disingenuous McCain and Graham were!! Sure McCain and Graham have some supporters in SC now who were against them in 2000, but those folks may find themselves in a heap of trouble when they come up for re-election. I know of two who have come out for McCain, and they were against him in 2000. Well, that old leopard hasn't changed his spots and he has done his damnedness to undermine our President when he could do so. He has only supported him when it was to his advantage, and I wouldn't trust McCain for anything! Graham has become impressed with himself and thinks more of himself than he deserves! I'm from SC, and I do not apologize for my opinions of these two men.
Call me a traitor if you will. Bush isn't content with his unpopular, mismanaged boondoggle of a war costing us Congress and torpedoing any chance of a conservative agenda. Now he'll completely ignore the message of November, get us in even deeper, and cost us 2008 as well. No thanks. If you've stepped in dog poo with your left foot, the answer is not to step in it with your right foot as well.
He has done it before!
I've got a new touch for him -
