God is Love. Love is truth. Love is eternal, unchangeable and invulnerable. Love is truth. Love is the first.
Love is kind. Love is forgiving. Love is charitable. Love is patient. Love is caring. Love is respectful. Love is giving. Love is delighting in the presence of etc.
Though I do agree that love would stop a child from running off a cliff. Love would not then proceed to beat that child. I do not see your posts on this site as loving. Not at all. The parent who saved a child from running off a cliff would then hold that child and express their love for them.
We should tell ourselves the truth - be brutally honest with ourselves - but we should be tactfully honest with others. In other words - those who want to hurt others and say *but I'm just telling the ""truth"" * are fooling no one. They are doing exactly what they want to do - they are consciously harming one of God's creations.
So it's consciously hurting one of God's creations to say that homosexual acts are unhealthy, unnatural, immoral, and that it is indeed possible to leave the gay life.
According to you, not to me.
And, btw, you're not tactful so you aren't following you own madeup rules! You don't exhibit those list of nice rules that you say others should follow. Why not tolerate the viewpoints that you disagree with? Or is the tolerance, respect, patience and all that good stuff only for others to treat you with?
