Are you kidding?!? A 'true conservative' would disown their daughter like Carpetbagger Keyes. And if Bush were a 'real conservative' he would fire Cheney and go on television during primetime to condemn Cheney's daughter for such a heinous act, probably calling for a marriage amendment as well (adding one more thing to the federal government's plate it was not intended to be involved in).
Ya know Im smart enough most of the time to avoid these kinds of arguments on these kinds of threads...and I am content to simply watch you and others do battle ....my hats off to ya

he said the right thing here - our side is being baited over this issue, into personalizing it. The Dems saw how the michael j fox incident played, and would like to repeat it.
