Whether they are a "cult" or not....they are good Republicans we NEED THEM!!
btw, I would have to do some research to find out if most denominations believe Mormon's to be in a "cult". I don't THINK so .....but I could be wrong. I've gone to the Lutheran, Methodist and Epis. churches and it's never come up!
LOL - I'm surrounded by them. I live in Utah :-)
They are humans. They run the gammit from truly inspiring to less than admirable. But they are by and large decent, good people.
Calling them a *cult* is over the top, imo. They've been around too long and there are too many of them :-)
I think this is all about trying to discredit Romney. Don't you?

In political terms, for votes and for things that matter to Republicans, this would be true. I can say that this group is definitely more in line with Republicans than with Democrats.
But, even so, that does not make them a *Christian religion*. And for whomever that is going to make a difference (in knowing that) -- they *should* know it. It should be made clear. The Mormon beliefs should be made just as clear as the position of Christians should be made clear. Each should stand on their own merits and be open about what they believe.
