You said -- "We've had Mormon neighbors and I went to school with a lot of Mormons and several are life long friends."
I have a lot of friends who are not Christian. Just because they happen to be friends with me doesn't make them "Christian". And so, a lot of people are going to know Mormons and be neighbors with them. That has nothing to do with their false and cult teachings -- in the terminology of the Christian faith, as brought to this earth by Jesus Christ and told to us through the only source that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has provided to us -- the Bible.
