My mother's parents were Mormon as are my next door neighbors of 25 years. They are all great people and I have yet to see them with their horns and forked tails exposed.
I posted that in all honesty and I stand by it, save for the exception of Harry Reid, but I met him once when I lived in Las Vegas and he helped me and was nice to me. I have since come to despise him.
We've had Mormon neighbors and I went to school with a lot of Mormons and several are life long friends.
You said -- "They are all great people and I have yet to see them with their horns and forked tails exposed."
They may be great people and great neighbors and so on -- but they are *not Christian* (in terms of the theology of the Christian church at large). This is well documented and beyond dispute in the Christian church.
One well-respected source is from Walter Martin -- "The Kingdom of the Cults" and is considered to be *the authoritative work* on so-called "Christian cults" (those who pretend to be Christian and are not in their doctrines).

"Christianity" has nothing to do with how nice people are as neighbors. It has nothing to do with how they vote in elections. It has nothing to do with them taking care of their own or their families.
The Bible gives the "tenets" of Christianity and you will find them summarized down to the "core minimum" in Walter Martin's book for purposes of having a "tool" to be able to distinguish the *false religions* of the world from the one that Jesus Christ brought to this world.
