Duncan Hunter, Mike Pence, Tom Tancredo would make a very good, informative, and helpful primary season. Sam Brownback could helpfully pile on. Newt could speak, but no one should vote for him. I don't know where Tommy Franks is on issues, but it was an interesting suggestion.
But a bottom line here is that Tancredo has national visibility and credibility on the existential-peril issue. He has been *doing things* to try to actually save the country from getting wiped out. And that, along with the popularity its brought him, is a major, major selling point.
Yeah like calling the largest city in a state that the GOP MUST win in order to have a chance in presidential elections a 3rd world hell hole. Yep he has "visibility" alright and that is THE PROBLEM.
