Oh, gee, why don't we just make sure that every child has one then!
We should outlaw fertility clinics that aren't approved of by our new moral government, who will make sure that the parents are 'fit'.
Heck, why stop there? We should just outlaw sex unless they get a government approved license. After all, if they are a bad couple and have a rotten kid, it'll affect me, so I have the right to make sure I'm not affected by their rotten kid. So sex license it is!
"If you didn't want him to have the land so badly, why didn't you pool your resources as a community and buy the land?"
No one knew he bought it until after the fact. Once the deal became known about, all kinds of people offered to buy it from him. But he was determined to open a strip joint - and one of his reasons was to give the low income girls around here a good job.
And come to think of it, the decisions made on the state level were JUDICIAL! Not eve state legislature.
The fact that the vast majority of citizens around here did not want the strip joint means nothing to you. So who's the Big Government here? I guess you like the suits in the state capital forcing decisions on us little people. We're just country folk who pay taxes. We're not suited up elites, we should just accept what our betters decide for us and shut up.
And your 'middle ground' response to Cheney's situation is?
Have we actually reached the point where people are making threats of a virtual, electronic beating? LOL
Explain, por favor.
But fatherless children are a burden on society. Homosexuals are a burden on society. Add these two together, and guess what?
It affects us all.
Please stop denying moral conservatives the right to oppose this.
I'm nominating it.
lol. I feel priviledge now. It is sorta like in high school when one day all your friends get detention and for some reason you decide you want to have detention to so you can hang out and be with your friends.
Brilliant - I was actually thinking of that particular SP episode!
Excellent advice. Most grown-ups I know don't feel the need to get involved in private aspects of people's lives that they don't know.
I prefer the term, "virtual roadkill".
Mary Cheney's pregnancy affects us all
And as you go, I have a parting gift for you:
Thanks for playing.
Well, ya sure are a virtual tough guy, Pilgrim. ;)
lamenting unwed motherhood, homosexual adoption etc. as national trends, as being bad for society, in no way interfere with anyone's personal lives, and is a perfectly adult behavior in a free society. you would ban such discussion?
Feel better now?
Beep! Beep!
It's a shame.
You mean except for the guy saying we should return to victorian morality laws?
Please stop denying moral conservatives the right to oppose this.
They can oppose it all they want, but publically attacking a woman for private behavior in such a way is wrong.
It's people that do things like this that allow the left to attack us for wanting inside people's bedrooms, wanting to impose our values, etc. which greatly hurts our ability to affect things that are truly a public concern, such as Abortion.
lamentable even : )
