Bush will go down in history just like his father did - a failure. His father did everything possible to undue Ronald Reagan's legacy abroad and at home. He served one pathetic term in which he broke his promise not to raise taxes and caved into the Democrats. He lost an election after running one of the most pathetic campaigns in history to a liar, a sexual predator and a traitor.

His son started out sounding pretty good - a lot tougher than his father. But then he made similar mistakes. He threw away his victory in Afghanistan and Iraq by not finishing the job and taking out the ayatollahs and the Syrian Baathists - just like his father failed to take out Saddam when he had him by the short hairs.
He committed our military forces - the best the world has ever seen, to fighting a defensive war in Iraq while the Iranians and Syrians funded, encouraged and supported "insurgents" and infiltrators with impunity. His failed scheme to bring democracy to a population which couldn't possibly understand the meaning of the term and really could only appreciate a benevolent dictator resulted in a catastrophic defeat in the mid-term elections, wiping out the gains a real political genius - Newt Gingrich had made during the Clinton years. He appointed a few good conservative judges - in a at least one case under duress, and tried to defend an indefensible policy regarding the Dubai Port Deal.

He has washed away the southern U.S. border, opening us to invasion by millions of foreigners of unknown origin and purpose and has perhaps forever altered the multi-ethnic composition of America.

Running as a "compassionate conservative" he replaced his conservative AG with a man who supports illegal aliens, affirmative action, gun control and abortion.

THAT is Bush II's legacy.

No, you are wedded to mythogrification of Reagan and distorting President Bush's factual accomplishments; whilst insulting and attacking those here who support him and still manage to see him as he is...warts and all.

I always find that those who copiously cut and paste lots and lots of words have the least to say.
