The Bush administration is the opposite of the month of March: It started as a lion but will end as a lamb.

Why do they act like Bolton was approved by the senate .. or even had a chance of being approved before he resigned??

"The Bush administration is now drifting idly toward a mixture of centrism and impotence."
This drift has been going on ever since he bragged about his "political capital" after the 2004 election. He wasted it all without accomplishing a single thing except for caving to the Dim's at every opportunity.

The Bush administration is now drifting idly toward a mixture of centrism and impotence. That pretty much sums it up. They've been adrift in those waters for a while, but now it's getting really obvious.

How is it Bush's fault the nimrods in the Senate wouldn't approve Bolton?

Bush is giving the People what they apparently want.
Be careful what you ask for, as the saying goes.

Bush leaves a very small footprint,
for a full two-term president.
The apple rolled very far away from the tree.

Drift to impotence? He's been going strong at it since 2004.

What a bunch of defeatists !
Bush is distracting the world's attention from Iraq to Washington while he ramps up the second stage of the Roach Motel.
Imagine a carefully staged repeat of the Iran-Iraq war that decimated both countries for eight years.
Only this time throw in a Saudi Arabia scared to death of Iranian nukes, plus millions of Iranian child suicide bombers.

Sadly, I must agree. I was expressing such thoughts to a friend earlier today.
Then there is Poppy Bush - blubbering like a little girl for all the world to see. UGH...

JOHN Bolton's resignation as the American ambassador to the United Nations makes it official: The Bush administration is now drifting idly toward a mixture of centrism and impotence. Drifting? Not drifting, he's already "drifted!"

I think it was Ann Richards who describe Bush as "all hat and no cattle." The President is getting dangerously close to fulfilling her description. But let's see if he rejects the ISG's loser mentality suggestions. I wish I could say I was hopeful.

Election 2008 be damned. I think Bush should begin a bombing campaign of Iran in mid summer 2008. If he can topple that monkey, I may be able to live with a Democrat president for the next 4 years. After all, the candidates we have are not that different.

Why does it feel like 1974 all over again? Next we get 4 years of the Hildabeast, then a resurgence of Conservatism in 2010. Any bets?
