Most of the things the Da Vinci Code book says about Christianity and the Roman Catholic Church are not true at all.

Me too. And I thought the book/movie was a documentary.

I know... but tell it to a liberal. to them it is not the nature of the evidence, but the nature of the charge!

What gave it away, Sherlock? Maybe the fact that it was in the FICTION section?

Newsflash: The Seven Chinese Brothers isn't a true story, either.

Could it have been LESS specific?

I don't think the author said it was true. It is a novel and an action movie.

I think he was quite succinct. Got his introduction and conclusion all wrapped up in one sentence.

I'm sure this was discussed 2 years ago, before I joined FR. But there is not a doubt in my mind that "The Last Supper" by Da Vinci features a feminine looking figure opposite Jesus. Mary Magdalene? I dunno. That's what Leonardo was trying to say. That doesn't make the conspiracy theory true, but it just means people have believed it for hundreds of years.

This poster is still a ________(fill in the blank).
