The good news out of all of this is that the Democrats will now be turning on each other, especially since the '08 Presidential primary campaign begins now. Expect to see a lot of bloodshed as Hillary grasps for the nomination.
Remember, this is all just a two year interregnum in the grand scheme of things.

Unless the GOP adopts Conservatism as a platform instead of as a costume, it will continue to lose favor, voters and eventually will become irrelevant as a political party.
