What control did Republicans have?
We had nominal control of the Senate fo 4 years, but this depended on 5 Liberal Republicans (Snow, Collins, Chafee, Spectre, and Dewine) as well as the unreliable McCain and Graham.
We had a mmajority of 15 seats in the House, but were depndent of 50 liberal or moderates.
The answer for any thinking person was to give us a workeable majority, not to trust open liars like Pelosi-supporting "Conservative" Democrats.

So it's your contention that I'm not a "thinking person" in spite of voting Republican?
Some people here are Republican first and Conservative second, I'm not accusing you of being one, but I'm not either.
I think all politicians are basically dishonest or scoundrels. I may be wrong occasionally but I'm right far more often. And I think that if seeing congress in a deadlock for a few years is the price I have to pay to remind the scoundrels ostensibly on the right who it was that brung em to the dance, I say so be it.
It's not like I can do anything about it now anyway except encourage the people still remaining to move further right or it could be them next.
