I'm thinking about all that also. That's why this angered me so much. Alot was at stake, and most voters dropped the ball while the miltiary is abroad fighting the worse enemy in three generations.

It would have always been better if Bush were a true conservative. He has the guts to fight these guys , but has done a poor job over the last 3 years to articulate the whole picture with the whole Islamic enemy. Unless people realize the true danger to us it made it very easy for the Dems to nay say. Bush was being politically correct. On domestic matters he made it hard for the conservatives to straddle the fence for him and retain their values. Still would have been better not to lose last night knowing the human stakes. Best we can hope for at the moment is that the Dems will proceed with caution, maybe realizing that a disaster of some type might ruin their 2008 dreams. In 2008 we need a true conservative leader and we need to start finding these folks pronto!Just wish we had not have lost 3 good guys here in Indiana. The Dems beat them by using the globalization fears. Funny, huh?
