Ronald Reagan never had a Republican Congress. That is true. However, Reagan was a true conservative. Reagan more often than not was not afraid to veto things. Bush "gets it" that terrorists are at war with us. Other than that, he is no Reagan.

This is a true statement. But then in those days there were still some conservative Democrats. And they had seniority. Now there's nothing but moonbats as far as the eye can see.

He did have bluedog Democrats who voted for Reaganomics and some of whom did change parties.
