I think every Freeper in Texas should vote against Governor Rick Perry on November 7 as a protest. He refused to intervene on behalf of the Border Patrol Agents.

The best way to fight this kind of tyrany is to vote for a Republican dominated Congress, while peppering them and the White House with protests.

Also, work toward a conservative coalition builder, for the Presidency in 2008.

Mind telling me where a STATE governor has standing to intervene in a FEDERAL case involving the misdeeds of FEDERAL officers?

Good grief. Like Governor Perry can do anything about a federal court!

I'll wager other Texas FReepers do not share you emotional view.

Governor Perry chose to allow the lawful process to prevail. Nobody has been denied the right to appeal. To intervene at this point would be an injustice to the accused (now convicted), and the citizens of Texas. I have a radical idea. We observe the laws of the State of Texas.
