I'm grateful that you haven't figured out that any tax imposed on anybody is a tax on you.

Noooo...I did not buy a new car this year. I did not pay a new car tax. I did not buy a new refrigerator this year. I did not pay a refigerator sales tax.

I did not buy a cigarette this year (or any year.) I did not pay a cigarette tax.

If you bought anything this year, you paid a tobacco tax, because at least 25% of the people who produced and delivered whatever you bought paid a tobacco tax.

I'ts all passed along.

Simple economics, don't you see.
