Maybe it's time to stop blaming the police and be grateful that he didn't have the time to do what it sounds like he had planned for them. They would've died anyway but what a horrible thing to have happen at the hands of an immoral piece of human debris as that.
They suffered enough, I'm sure. I'm grateful it wasn't more.
I think now, with this revelation from the press conference, it is obvious why he chose the Amish school - thinking it would allow him time to do his evil deeds before anyone got to a telephone.
