Are you saying they have no moral right to ask an outsider, ie the police, to come in and stop the killing of their children done by an outsider? How heartless!! Don't you think it's just a little odd that they don't believe in defending themselves, but that they do believe in calling in the police to defend them?
And as for "heartless", don't you think it's more than a little "heartless" to be so ruthlessly pacifist that you will stand by and watch your loved ones be murdered just so that you can maintain your perfect, flawless, 100% unblemished record in the pantheon of pacifism?

Please remember this thread is not to be used to 'blame' the Amish or discuss/attack their faith. It has been established, multiple times in the 1600 plus posts, that there was no way and 'defense' could have been mounted in that one room school house by the young female teacher and her younger yet aide.
The Amish abide by the laws of the Commonwealth and are protected by the police of this state like any other resident.
