I was commenting on the folks that were cheerfully dispensing by rumors about Crist being gay and fathering a child out of wedlock while claiming to be Christians.
Hypocrisy rankles me. Bigtime. That's all.
Religion, in my never-humble opinion, isn't about what one says--it's about what one does.

I don't remember Christianity coming into play at all in those discussions. The hypocrisy is expressed in other ways, not in religion.
You take huge risks by attaching Christianity to things you don't like. It's a bad idea. Leave religion out of your arguments. That's my suggestion.
You might reconsider the whole "lighten up" attitude, too. I don't "lighten up" when discussing serious topics, and don't appreciate folks telling me to do so, especially when they've posted offensive messages about religious beliefs.
Not everything is subject to sarcastic humor, you see.
