There was a thread a few days ago, which posted pictures of some Gallagher supporters carrying signs, opposed to Crist, and the signs said, 'No Wife', 'No Children', 'No Home', 'You Dont Qualify'...the implication was, that because Crist was not married and had no children, he was gay...then someone else said, that they had lived for a time in San Francisco, and they had 'gaydar', and they had apparently once shook hands, with Crist, and their 'gaydar' was alerted...I am just recapping what was said..

And another thing about the signs, since when does renting a place, mean that you have no home?...I am sure many Freepers would be surprised to hear this....tho apparently according to the ones carrying the signs, renting, means you have no home...

Then apparently when all this rumor mongering did not seem to boost Gallagher in the polls, then out came the rumors that Crist had fathered a child out of wedlock, and that he denied it...no facts to support the allegation either, but what the heck, rumors never need facts...

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that before the election Crist was expected to win by 20 percentage points, but the last time I looked at the election results, Crist was leading by more than 25 percent..

Guess the tactics of spreading all those rumors and carrying all those ridiculous signs, backfired...
