I watched Pope Benedict yesterday, I think it was, or maybe the day before, cannot exactly remember when, and found the service very compelling and found Benedict thriving in his position as Pope...I understand he is quite the scholar, and had looked forward to his own retirement, a time when he could read and study at his own pleasure...being called to be Pope, is really the last thing he wished for, as I understand it...but he has truly proved to be quite remarkable, so early in his role as Pope...I hope he has many more years, as the Pope...
