Is he a rino?? Hell yes... McCain supported him.
So did former Senator Connie Mack.
To: SDGOP
You must not have gotten the True Believer memo stating that 90% of Republicans are RINO.

I just said us South Park Republicans are in the majority in Florida. Apparently by a 2:1 majority. :)
Dream on.

Well, considering the fact that he doesn't have any CHILDREN, who knows..........LOL.
True, the 50 year old Crist has no children. But Gallagher had no children until he was 55. Are you implying that Gallagher was gay until a few years ago? Katherine Harris is 49 and has no kids. Are you implying that she is gay?

LOL. Half these people are literally insane.

"Monroe, we have disagreed, but you can't really believe that the majority of Floridians watch SouthPark and vote Republican????"First, let me appologize if I have offended you. You obviously have a good heart; we just disagree on Terri. To me (and this will be the last time I bring it up), it would have been a much worse torture keeping me alive so long. We both wish for the least suffering, and for me, 6 months and I would have been begging somebody to end it. That is all I will say on that.
No, I don't believe the majority of pubbies that vote watch South Park.
"South Park Republican" is a label that kind of fits a lot of us that voted for Crist, whether they are aware of the term or not. There is extensive info on the net, and here, describing the general characteristics of "South Park Republicans."
Just like "Blue Dog Democrats" do not necessarily own a blue dog, "South Park Republicans" do not necessarily watch South Park (although I sure do).

There has been a lot of innuendo posted here about Crist.

TO ALL MY FELLOW FREEPERS:

I understand your point. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.
The main point is that we hold on to both Houses. No one can expect to have all of their candidates win everytime. Plus, I don't even live in Florida, so I will leave you guys to sort out who becomes Gov....:)

Reality is, the jokes are starting, and the poison has been used on the Harris campaign. Collins should be taken to the woodshed for using, "She can't win!" as a campaign slogan.

I totally agree with you. Not all of my candidates who I supported won, but I will now vote for those who did win. That is what primaries are for, is to seek out the best candidate who we believe in to represent our party in the general election. Then once the primaries are over it is time for all of us to unite, and vote for the Republican candidates who won to keep the Dem's out of power.

It is called gallows humor which has always been part of Free Republic as long as I can remember. Why is everyone so touchy about Florida's death lobby? There is one, they have a lot of power and they just got a whole lot more.

Why do I suspect the same people who are going to be running around urging conservatives to support Crist are the ones who won't reciprocate and vote for Harris.

People are voting for Davis instead of Linn so that Crist won't win. He fooled a lot of people. He won't fool all of the people.

Crist is more leftist than Davis. Davis wants to clean house. Crist wants to have a teachers' wing right off of his office. No way. Crist is for teachers, not for students.
