I don't have any children. I am not gay. Some of us are just not the married with children type of folks and we are smart enough to know it. Why make kids suffer? I love kids, other peoples kids.

From the first article:
Told that Gallagher was campaigning as a staunch conservative who, unlike Crist, strongly backed lawmakers intervening to try to keep Terri Schiavo alive, Michaels was taken aback.
And all these months, Gallagher was getting raked over the coals from alleged "true conservatives".

Crist was instrumental in the execution of an innocent woman.Yet Gallagher wasn't.... Go figure.

I've seen those smears made on other Republicans on this forum before, namely Harriet Miers.
It's disgusting and the people who make them are shameless.

"you all?"
You're leading the cheer for this guy, ostensibly because he executed an innocent human being. No, Republican, Democrat, Martian, whatever... no one who stood by and did nothing to help the helpless should be supported by the groups I mentioned (except the secularists/humanists).

It truly is disgusting. No one knows why a person has chosen not to marry and procreate. It's no one's business. If a person is gay, as long as they don't force their life-style on me, I don't care. It's none of my business. Life gets moving pretty fast some times and you turn around and realize 20 years is just gone.
I shall don my flame retardant suit now and prepare for the liberal and RINO accusations to come flying in. :) Getting used to it actually.

Or you can apologize for lying about what I said.
I can wait while you find one.

Excuse me, but in a civilized society, an Attorney General is bound by law to follow the law and the Constitution of his state and his country. It's not his fault no one changed the law. If everyone decided to follow only the laws that suit them, we would have anarchy. I know I am wasting my time here, but still.

Not from me! But you knew that.
People who sit around discussing stuff like that are an embarassment to conservatives and to this web site.

Some people are obsessed with the Terri Schiavo case long after the rest of us have moved on. The day that so many so-called "Conservatives" demanded that the state intervene in what should have been a private matter between two families was a dark day for the conservative movement.
I don't know about Crist's personal life, but the people who are fixiated on the Schiavo case really have their priorities screwed up.

They are going down the rabbit hole and they want to take the party with them.
Not me and I'm sure not the vast majority of us.

Tonight I was thinking about how disgusted I am with the GOP and I remembered the exact date I got that way:
It was the night they convened that special session of the Senate to deal with the Terri thing.
Absolutely disgusting.

I am so glad you made that point. I was never comfortable with the government getting involved in that case. Talk about a slippery slope. I feel terrible for Terri's family and it was a horrible thing. But the Government had no business getting involved. I will not condemn Jeb and Congress for trying, their hearts were in the right place, but it was an impossible thing legally.
