Gallagher is pro-life (endorsed by FL RTL & Dr. Dobson), willing to dig for oil offshore Florida, against eminent domain, againt civil unions, against amnesty for illegals, against high taxes - all the important conservative causes.

Charlie Crist is the opposite of all that.

My name is not spelled "twit."

>> You have a reading comprehension problem as well.

Nope. Got 100s in reading, too.

Your reading comprehension score will improve if you read all of the characters in a word. My name has five characters; you read only four. "All right" has eight characters; you use only seven.

Alright is a perfectly acceptable and commonly used word according to Webster's dictionary. It's frequently used in business, something you clearly don't have a passing relationship with.

And I still think your screen name as T'wit is perfectly appropriate for someone who is clearly a first class Twit.

There you go again, making fun of people's screen names like a 5 year old. I have seen you do it many times. It is silly and shows desperation.

There's nothing for me to be desperate over. I was proven right and he (and you) were proven wrong.

When a freeper is repeatedly shown that one of the world's most accepted dictionaries says that the word is commonly used and acceptable and the freeper can't be man enough to admit it, he's a twit.

You needn't sink to the level of business English. Proper English, including correct spelling, will help assure your clients that you are careful with all the details of your business proposals. Conversely, sloppy English will convey to your clients a strong impression of sloppy thinking.

You really don't mind being wrong, do you? All the lawyers I worked with used "alright", but I'm supposed to take some twit's word on the internet for proper usage and spelling? I don't think so.

Oh, no, you weren't watching the Pres. speech? How dare you? Someone will immediately be over arrest you....sarcasm off////

How silly!

BTW...maybe I should start including the disclaimer that my Professor puts on all his e-mails. "Please read this e-mail and let me know if my keyboard made a mistake". I find it funny...:)

I'm not wrong. I don't care how many illiterates you work with, it doesn't make your case. Above, I cited the best dictionary of American English ever published -- an unabridged -- namely, "alright - all right; a form commonly used but not recognized by authorities as in good use." It's not good English.

Lawyers are notoriously bad writers. If you want to look to them for your spelling rules, go ahead.

Hello?

I don't know which version of Merriam-Webster you looked at, but that is the EXACT dictionary I've repeatedly quoted which says it's acceptable and in fact common usage in business and journalism and fiction writing.

So get over yourself, you twit.

I know which one you looked at. It does not say the usage was acceptable, only that it is common in some circles. They are not the same. Picking one's nose is common too, but that does not make it a pretty sight.

M-W online is a collegiate dictionary, btw and pretty good for everyday stuff. However, for formal writing or scholarly work you should refer to an unabridged. I cited Web 2 unabridged, which is a lot more authoritative. Same company.

On abortion. Four months ago, cc was pro-choice. At the debate he was anti-abortion. This person who's known CC for a long time can't stand him now because he lied during the debates and since we talked about that two weeks ago, I can't remember what else she said he lied about. I felt that his entire presentation was a lie, especially the last debate.

If Florida wants their own bill clinton, they're well on their way except cc doesn't have Bill Clinton's brain.

"Four months ago, cc was pro-choice. At the debate he was anti-abortion."

Sorry Charlie must have taken some polls. Liberals live by the polls and die by the polls.

Here's the real Charlie:

Crist initially drew the ire of pro-life advocates when he voted against a 24 hour waiting period for abortions when he was a state Senator. That action and his reluctance to take a clear pro-life stance in the gubernatorial election, prompted Florida Right to Life to endorse Gallagher in the September primary.

http://www.lifenews.com/state1803.html

No wonder the FL RTL and Dr. Dobson endorsed Gallagher.

Charlie Crist doesn't even want women to THINK about it for 24 hours before having an abortionist kill their preborn baby.

Are you serious? Um, how about abortion, penny sales tax, services tax, gun control, tort reform, vouchers...how's that for a start?
