According to Fox 35, Charlie Crist is the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor.
Time for us to get behind him.
SM
These people must take us for fools.
Such outrageous and silly ass lies.
Dang! Beat me to it! lol
A rather decisive win! 30 percentage points. Real nail biter.
LOL -- have to fast around here.
I don't know what they are. I can't figure it out. They pretend to be Christians but Christians don't typically lie like this. And this isn't the first time.
And then the shrieking on other threads about stalking - it doesn't portray women very well does it? That kind of hysteria is just, so, well, unseemly is the nicest thing I can say.
Which debate? What issue? Do you have any specifics, or not?
I was gratified to see Randall Terry lose.
How about some proof?
Oh...nevermind.
Really? /s
LOL!
"The rotten, stinking judges are not going to be voted back in. The rotten, stinking lawyers who think they can waltz into a judgeship due to nepotism or cronyism can't do that any more."
lol!
I thought you were a paralegal?
We just called my husbands uncle down in Clearwater Florida, a short while ago...my husband wanted to call, not to discuss the primary, but rather my husband had bought some DVDs for his uncle, and was letting him know that he would be sending them to him...
So while we had him on the phone, I thought I would get his impression of the primary election...he lives within a senior community...he said that he and many of is friends, had to chuckle at Tom Gallagher, trying to win...again...I asked him what he meant, and he told me that this is Gallaghers 4th attempt in trying to become the governor of Florida...he ran and lost in 1982, 1986, 1994, and now again, in 2006...according to the uncle, most Floridians did not want Gallagher in the last three times, and they did not want him in this time either, as witnessed by the numbers from the election...I was unaware that Gallagher had run and lost, three previous times...some track record...
As far as rumors went, they did hear the little digs, about Crist is not married, Crist has no children, Crist does not own his own home, blah, blah, blah..therefore he is gay...they put it down to the usual mudslinging types of folks, and paid no attention to it...they also had to laugh, when the 'gay' mud slinging fest was a failure, now all of sudden, Crist fathered a child out of wedlock...even the seniors saw this as desperate people, desperately grasping at straws, any straws...
The uncle says, that he and his friends and neighbors may be elderly, but they are are not senile enough to believe all the lies and vicious insinuations, coming from the Gallagher supporters...they could see what was going on, how the Gallgher supporters, wallowed in the mud...
What they are puzzled by, is all the sorry losers on this thread, still whining and crying, long after the primary is over...wonder if old Tom Gallgher is going to try a fifth time, to become the governor...so far, the people of Florida have spoken, they are not interested in him for governor...not now, just as they were not interested in 1982, 1986, and 1994...
Of course family comes first. Prayers offered up.
But I am flattered to know you were thinking of me on a beautiful Sunday afternoon....but I wouldn't waste valuable time going back through days old posts...:)life is too short.
P.S. if you look carefully you might find a typo in this post...:)
Thanks for the report from our seniors. Very telling.
you sense make no.

You are welcome...and to note, most of these seniors are not folks who just moved down to Florida to retire...most of them, have worked and contributed to Florida for decades...my own husbands uncle moved there in early 1972, due to his company relocating to Florida...and most of his elderly friends are in the same situation, but most either were natives of Florida, or spent their working lifes working in Florida, transplanted from other states, when their jobs, relocated to Florida...
And our uncle is right...they know what is going on, and they take no ones word for anything...they check things out, and vote accordingly...they as well as the majority of others in Florida, give Gallagher the heave-ho...
He should be used to it by now...
Thanks for those official numbers...very interesting..
