According to Fox 35, Charlie Crist is the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor.
Time for us to get behind him.
SM
"..I'm doing my taxes.."
ROFL. You think it's April 15.
Some of us aren't lucky enough to be able to do our taxes in pencil on one sheet of paper.
Two words: Quarterly taxes. They're due Sept. 15, which means I need to write a couple of checks. :(
People on a mission from God (they think) can't be bothered with "worldly" knowledge. :-)
So, you're not a Republican. Good :) We can ignore you. We didn't need your vote before, and we ain't expecting it in Nov.
Your reporting is pretty bad...the link you provided went to a site, which somehow intimated that Yahoo was going to be hauled up before Congress, and somehow be punished...nothing is further from the truth...in fact, many different people also testified in the very same, congressional hearing, people who knew about how the internet works in China...Yahoo was asked to file a written report, outlining how their company operates in China...I read pages and pages of the actual hearing...
It appears to me, that this was a fact finding hearing, to see how the internet operates in China...Yahoo was invited to provide information...
As always, you like to mislead...you are not a reporter, and if you were, you would be considered quite a lousy reporter...you sought to alter the reason for the hearing, instead of being honest bout why it was being held...
As I suspected, you have slanted the information for your own personal use...not what any reporter should do..
Who is a reporter?
I am just funning....Sun said in her post #1060, I Report, You decide...yeah, right...slanted reporting is what I saw...
"Two words: Quarterly taxes. They're due Sept. 15, which means I need to write a couple of checks. :("
I knew that, hun, but was trying to show Howlin how nonsensical NONSENSICAL conversations are, but to no avail (sigh).
After reading some of the posts on this thread, I'm wondering is "reading comprehension" is what's wrong with some of these people; it could be out and out ignorance.
Or as they say about Bill Clinton, 'exceptionaly good liars.'
My information was excellent. Can't help it if you're in denial.
Yahoo even admitted that it "had" to report the Chinese citizens, if it wanted to continue doing business with China.
Yahoo helps send Chinese citizens to jail for the MONEY.
Yahoo has no conscience.
How about you do some research on it yourself. You might learn something.
Actually I have no idea what the problem is...all I know is, I dont take a number of posters assertions as anything more than mere fantasy...when they say something, I check it out...that is what is so grand about the internet...anything can be checked out by anybody..its usually quite easy to get to the 'real' truth of a issue, in a just a little bit of time...no need to take anyone elses word for anything...just check it out for ourselves, and find the real truth...often that real truth is quite different from what was portrayed as the truth...
Soooooo, getting back to topic.....
Offshore drilling separates hopefuls
Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist opposes rigs within 125 miles of Florida's coast, while Tom Gallagher supports the idea.

RINO RINO RINO RINO RINO, scratch that, LEFT OF RINO
In one of the debates, TOM GALLAGHER said he is AGAINST AMNESTY for illegal aliens and said that Florida's Sen.Immigration Bill S.2611 would cost $50 billion, and he against this bill and wants to protecting out borders.
TOM GALLAGHER said that his oppenent candidate CHARLIE CRIST is FOR AMNESTY & FOR Florida's Sen. Imigration BILL# S.2611 and said that CHARLIE CRIST claims it is not an amnesty bill because CRIST says that the Senate Bill is for EARNED LEGALIZATION (for illegal aliens).
Earned legalization = AMNESTY
WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT THE SENATE IMMIGRATION PLAN:
The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006 (S.2611)
needs significant changes before it represents the comprehensive approach required to dramatically and permanently decrease illegal border crossing and unlawful presence in the United States
Deterrence is an essential component of security, but the Senate plan would undermine deterrence. Provisions in the bill provide for the legalization of individuals unlawfully present in the United States for over five years. This amounts to a grant of amnesty to millions. (The Heritage Foundation "Senate Immigration Plan Fails to Deliver Comprehensive Border Security" by James Jay Carafano, 05/16/06)
"When it became clear this week that there weren't enough Senate votes to overcome a filibuster against the McCain-Kennedy-Specter amnesty for illegal immigrants, supporters of that approach moved to Plan B. Devised by Sens. Chuck Hagel and Mel Martinez, this "compromise" is being promoted by Majority Leader Bill Frist, and appears to have won the approval of Senate Democrats...This plan has all the problems of the other amnesty proposals: It rewards lawbreaking, it will lead to increased illegal immigration, and it is impossible to administer. (National Review Editorial, 04/07/06)
LEFT OF RINO, LEFT OF RINO, LEFT OF RINO, LEFT OF RINO
Crist calling himself a "conservative" is about as fake as his tan.
Oh, please, you are the one in denial...anything at all, that you can twist, you will twist to fit in with your notion of things...that is quite obvious..
I already read the committee transcripts...they are on the internet for anyone to read...
I do the research, all of the research, no matter where it leads...you ought to try it yourself...
You probably use yahoo for your research, and expect to get an honest answer about YAHOO. lol
"Crist calling himself a "conservative" is about as fake as his tan."
Absolutely. It's sad that so many have been duped.
Voters need to do their homework.
Beware of Greeks bearing gifts
Not to worry about my vote. I don't live in FL, but my passion is to get CONSERVATIVE governors in every state.
If Conservative Republican voters don't pay attention to whom they are voting for, our country will be filled with LIBERAL Republican governors, as well as LIBERAL Dem voters.
