Save America with the ‘Fair Tax Act’
The Courier ^ | August 31,2006 | Gordon Bishop

Posted on 09/03/2006 5:18:40 AM PDT by Man50D

Abolish the federal income tax!

No more taxes on savings and investments!

A "Fair Tax" can completely fund the federal government, Social Security and Medicare!

You control how much you spend!

So what are we waiting for?

You, the taxpayers of America burdened with an income tax that is costly, wasteful and sinking America into inevitable bankruptcy. All current forms of federal taxation would end! You would keep 100 percent of your paycheck. You control how you spend your paycheck. It's your money. You make the decisions as to how you want to spend your money.

The Fair Tax would create more jobs and give the USA a level playing field when selling overseas. United States Senator John Linder (R-Georgia) is sponsoring the "Fair Tax Act of 2005." If enacted by Congress, it would accomplish all of the above. Simple. Easy. And affordable.

It's the best way to downsize government without disrupting the economy.

To join the "Fair Tax" movement in America, just sign the "Economic Freedom & Fairness" Petition supporting forward-thinking solutions. Go to www.grassfire.net and liberate the working class of taxpayers. Grassfire is trying to give the working class the same kind of freedom America's founders gave to those who joined the American Revolution in 1776 with the "Declaration of Independence." We won the Revolutionary War, but have lost our country since the 16th Amendment (income tax) became "Law" in 1913.

You go on believing that the average taxpayer will reduce his federal tax burden by 50%, and I'll go on believing that you are nuts to think that is remotely possible. And the sad part is you think that people who don't pay taxes now will come out ahead, and that people who make a lot of money will come out way ahead. And you think that your numbers add up... Your projections are utterly impossible to achieve.

I think that the FairTax people have a trademark on the "Big BS" phrase, you might want to make sure they approve of you using it...Oh, I forgot, you work for them...

"Only you think it makes sense that the average guy sees his taxes go from $6488 to $3128"

And only you think that it doesn't! It's been pointed out repeatedly to you by many posters that the FairTax lowers taxes for most taxpayers - this is merely an example of it.

And I call Big BS (tm) on all you FairTaxers who believe that it is possible for a change in the tax collection system with a revenue neutral amount collected to cause the average American taxpayer to cut his tax bill in half. It is absurd and goes to show that GIGO-- Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Why in it Garbage In? The tax rate is obviously too low. And I've explained why many times before.

The actual tax rate will not be 29.87%, it will be closer to 50%, or higher, and that high of a rate won't work unless you go to a cashless society and put machine-gun carrying gendarmes at every retail location.

Those aren't "projections" at all. They're simple arithmetic taken from existing valid information given by both the CBO and the FairTax prebate data.

You can't stand that, can you, Rumplestilskin??? The FairTax actually helps most taxpayers and you can''t show otherwise except by making nonsense spoutings that "the numbers don't add up" ... "utterly impossible" ... etc.

You've been asked many, many times in the past to:

SHOW US THE MONEY!!! ...

But you not only haven't shown us - YOU CAN'T since your beloved income tax fails the test and badly so.

I don't "work for" anyone Drummer Boy and your snide misleading and inaccurate claim that I do is just more of your crap. You never met a lie you didn't like (or couldn't expand to be even more outlandish).

The FairTax volunteers don't "Work" for the FairTax organization?

I didn't say you were a paid worker-- in fact I've said before that if you were being paid, your boss must be the stupidest person on the planet to pay you to run off possible supporters in such large numbers...

If you don't understand how a more than 50% tax reduction is not possible for the average taxpayer, without doing a single calculation, then there is no hope for you. You are totally consumed by bias for the FairTax and will believe anything.

I have a question-- When the AFFT does the "CALL TO ACTION" (like in post #411) is that more like a really loud bugle or horn, or is it visual like the bat signal?

No, Robbie, the FairTax is just fine ... YOU are the pipedream.

Most taxpayers would be greatly helped by the FairTax and that's been amply demonstrated with verifiable numbers from valid sources. All you're come up with is "can't happen" ... "buncha dreams" ... "many things need to be included" ... etc., etc. etc. In short ANYTHING to try to make the FairTax and/or those supporting it out to be a lie or liars. And you've never been able to do that because you don't have verifiable numbers. All you can to is continue to post your meaningless vanity posts which were refuted long ago (but which you're still oh, so proud of).

You're one of the few who is mentally inept enough to believe the income tax is wonderful. And yet you can never show us how most taxpayers are helped by it - as is the case with the FairTax.

It doesn't "usurp" anything at all and especially not the state and local tax systems. Those are (still) up to the state and local governments.

I'm the mentally inept one? You think that the FairTax can give the average American a more than 50% tax cut, and I am the mentally inept one? Tell another funny one pigdog. And you don't even realize how stupid your claim sounds, that is what is even crazier...

If you are going to go back several days and start spamming, at least try to figure out what the discussion was that was taking place before commencing to dispense your verbal vomit.

But removing the parts of the tax code that call out income taxes, removing the income tax itself, removing the IRS (and defunding it), and requiring the income tax records to be destroyed - those hings DO eliminate the income tax and with sufficient votes to pass the FairTax it isn't likely at all that we'll ever have voters foolish enough to let the camel's nose back under the tent with any form of income tax.

Repealing the 16th would be icing on the cake but what would be even better would the the repeal amendment wording calling out that no income tax may ever be imposed in the future on taxpayers,

I'd be more that happy to have you show me using actual numbers from verifiable sources why the example presented is not correct.

C'mon Drummer Boy:

SHOW US THE MONEY!!!

Stop frothing at the mouth and attempting to deride others and show us a concrete example of how your beloved income tax benefits taxpayers in comparison to the FairTax. You've been challenged several times to do this - and you can't.

You don't accept any numbers except those presented to you by your FairTax masters. So, of course you come out with nothing but garbage.

GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT!!!

... and you're telling me to "... do as I say, not as I do ..."???

Your masterful spamming advice is SOOOOO appreciated but I doubt I'd ever be able to accomplish all of the spamming you do with your vanity posts ... I'm simply not arrogant and conceited enough to rise to your level. I already know that "everything is not about me" - while you don't seem to.

Drummer Boy - as I said (several times, in fact), I'd be more than happy to see any numerical example you might give that shows how your beloved income tax benefits more taxpayers than does the FairTax.

I've also said you can't do it. Here's your chance to prove me wrong.

SHOW US THE MONEY!!!
