Save America with the ‘Fair Tax Act’
The Courier ^ | August 31,2006 | Gordon Bishop

Posted on 09/03/2006 5:18:40 AM PDT by Man50D

Abolish the federal income tax!

No more taxes on savings and investments!

A "Fair Tax" can completely fund the federal government, Social Security and Medicare!

You control how much you spend!

So what are we waiting for?

You, the taxpayers of America burdened with an income tax that is costly, wasteful and sinking America into inevitable bankruptcy. All current forms of federal taxation would end! You would keep 100 percent of your paycheck. You control how you spend your paycheck. It's your money. You make the decisions as to how you want to spend your money.

The Fair Tax would create more jobs and give the USA a level playing field when selling overseas. United States Senator John Linder (R-Georgia) is sponsoring the "Fair Tax Act of 2005." If enacted by Congress, it would accomplish all of the above. Simple. Easy. And affordable.

It's the best way to downsize government without disrupting the economy.

To join the "Fair Tax" movement in America, just sign the "Economic Freedom & Fairness" Petition supporting forward-thinking solutions. Go to www.grassfire.net and liberate the working class of taxpayers. Grassfire is trying to give the working class the same kind of freedom America's founders gave to those who joined the American Revolution in 1776 with the "Declaration of Independence." We won the Revolutionary War, but have lost our country since the 16th Amendment (income tax) became "Law" in 1913.

"Under the income tax, to make a $1000 house payment, I'd need to earn $1333."

No. Almost all of that $1000 is interest (early on in the mortgage) and you get to deduct that. If your effective rate is 25% (I believe you said), then your effective house payment is only $750.

Meaning you need to earn only $1000 -- $200 LESS than under the NRST.

However, the income tax allows deductions for property tax and interest, which then lowers your tax rate.

You certainly never pinged the mods although it was such an embarrassing post that I was doing you a favor to have it removed. You are the hit and run artist and that post was full of ad hominem attacks.

Then you never even saw my post. I posted to the mods at the same time I posted to dromedary. Stop lying Rob. We are all very tired of it. Shoo!!

And nobody "tapes your comments" they are all there to see "In Forum" any time you like. Your's are pretty much all negative attacks, interspersed with attaboys to your fellow FariTaxers.

LOL!! Once again, no debate. Simply imbecilic words that of course could be construed as something rational. Where are your inflation numbers Rob? I swear I'm only in my 40's but I'll spend the rest of my life pinging you to try to get you to debate me. You will never do it.

I got your post pulled at 5:30 this morning 7 hours after you posted it. And I sent you a Freepmail about it a few minutes later.

Now this is rich. I posted to the AM's and YOU got the post pulled. Well thank you for being the master bater. You are such and idiot.

Here's the deal. I'm tired of these stupid sniping posts. If you have anything to reply about my myriad of posts about the facts of the case I will be glad to recognize them. Otherwise, go piss off a pier. You are not valid and you are not someone who should be taken seriously.

The Roscoe account is closed and has been for years.

That you don't presently post from Roscoe or haven't for a long time is irrelevant. You still have two screen names that you registered-- Mojave and Roscoe. Anybody can go to both profile pages. Honor your side of our agreement. Our agreement is:

Zon: If I can prove that you have two screen names, you never again post to FreeRepublic under any screen name? If I can't prove it I leave. 222

Mojave: Agreed. 228

So much for your word.

I don't have that screen name.

That you haven't used the Roscoe screen name in years is irrelevant. You registered the name. It is yours.

The account has been closed for years.

Earlier tonight I sent two private emails to your Roscoe screen name.

You have no honor or credibility. The only way you can regain any is to honor your side of our agreement.

The account has been closed for years.

Besides the irrelevance of your Roscoe account being closed or not, because it has no bearing on our agreement, you haven't shown proof that it's closed. Which even if you can prove it's closed it's irrelevant to our agreement. When a door, book or window is closed it is still there and can be accessed. Like your Roscoe profile page and posting history that I accessed, and the two private emails I sent you/Roscoe tonight. That it may only be partially accessible doesn't equate to it not being yours.

No where in our agreement is there any mention of the status of your Roscoe account. To the contrary our agreement is about you having two screen names.

It's not my account. It was closed years by FreeRepublic years ago and nobody, including me, has access to it.

That you refuse to honor your agreement is as unsurprising as your stalking, harassment and continuing dishonesty.

I'm not for the so-called "fair" tax, but since it hasn't a hope of ever coming to be anytime soon, I won't lose sleep over it.

You registered Roscoe and Mojave and posted under both screen names. Roscoe and Mojave are the screen names of the same person, you. That you can no longer post from Roscoe is irrelevant.

There's a long history of your posts under your Roscoe screen name. Here are a couple of your post you made using your Roscoe screen name.

Not good enough, Kevin. You stopped applauding too soon.

He makes his profits off of his special "inclusive" financing rates.
Yea and a 25% income tax is really a 33% tax on what you have left after you've paid your taxes....You know, like when you go shopping with a $100 bill and spend $25, everyone knows you spent 33% of what you didn't spend...Oh yea, and the Principled/Fairtax/pigdog/groanup 3 stage average of 9 is 3.1...(HUH?)

It further exposes his lack of credibility. He showed his true colors and that's what matters to the FairTax.

Freedom being a monthly entitlement check from the federal government?

Jesse Jackson logic.

'gonna throw away the ENTITLEMENT to keep our whole paycheck, the ENTITLEMENT of being free from the Gestapo/IRS .......

I amazes me that so many folk would pooh-pooh something because it isn't 100% the way they'd like it.

Where you have even two people judging a thing, you will likely have dissent.

But the FAIR TAX bill is 110% over the IRS -

For those who don't want or need the prebate, what a great opportunity to be charitable -

The Fair Tax entitlement consists of a monthly subsidy check from the federal government.
