You think Mel Gibson's dad is a public figure? And if not senility, what else would explain his dad's opinion that the holocaust never happened?

His longstanding opinion. Are you suggesting only the senile are Holocaust deniers? If so, you're mistaken.

And yes, Hutton is a public figure of sorts, more prominent since his son became famous, which triggered his move from Australia to Texas. And yes, he contends he was a part of the movie making process. I've no way of knowing if that's true or not, I'd prefer to think not

I just don't think his dad is a public figure. I'm not suggesting that sinility is the only cause for his dad to deny the holocaust happened, I'm asking what else would have caused his dad to believe something like that?
