If a state was to decide to leave, who would determine the terms? The state, or the fed? Or would we fight over the terms? Is there any federal supremacy in your mind?

They don't need no stinkin' terms! In the southeron mindset the only people with any rights and who are due any constitutional protections were those in the South. The rest of the country didn't have any.

the STATE! the states created the federal government.
at their own motion, they can change or dissolve it too.
