there are at LEAST 3 things wrong in your post.

first, can you NAME any Black union regiment that "wrapped itself in glory" as the 54th MASS did???

second, there were NO conscripted Black men among the south's 100,000+ soldiers, sailors & marines. NONE. all the "persons of colour",who served in the CSA forces, were VOLUNTEERS.

finally, there were no "one race" training camps. instead, there were just "training camps" for all soldiers. (sailors & marines did NOT go to training camps. instead they went to their company/ship to be trained "on the job".

Glory? Well I'm not aware of any other who had a movie made about them, but black regiments served on most fronts and performed sterling service, even if they didn't get the credit the 54th did. They were at Olustee, Poison Spring, Plymouth, the Crater, as you well know since the south executed so many black prisoners at those battles. They made up whole divisions in the Army of the Potomac.
