The Reb baiters don't give a damn about proof. I've posted numerous links, excerpts from books, etc. (as have you and others) but they either ignore or deny their validity.
They much prefer slanderous personal attacks than honest debate.
I know. Everything seems to point in that direction. But there are still those, "lurkers" who will be enlightened upon seeing that no more legitimate excuses exist, for anyone who needed to be nudged into reality...

In all honesty I cannot recall a single instance where Ms. Schwerin provided anything to support her claims. At least stand waite makes up sources, Ms. Schwerin refuses to do even that. I do, I'll accept your claim that you do, but she does not. For example, I can point to the Stephen Sear biography of McClellan, meticulously researched and foot noted, and not a single shred of evidence to support Ms. Schwerin's outlandish claims. So you can understand our skepticism and our interest in her sources. Her reputation preceeds her.
